Prashant Shrestha

Prashant Shrestha is the co-founder of VAAV Wellbeing and a leading SEL (Social Emotional Learning) advocate in Nepal. Through VAAV, Prashant works to build emotional intelligence across workplaces, schools, and communities, creating spaces where wellbeing and connection come first.

With a background in counseling psychology and over a decade of corporate experience, Prashant blends neuroscience, social psychology, and storytelling to create transformative learning experiences. His work with emotional intelligence extends beyond the classroom—into retreats, families, and organizational culture.

Before founding VAAV, Prashant Shrestha managed fasting retreats at The Institute of Aliveness (TIFA) and served as a client manager in clinical hypnotherapy under Dr. Valerie Ane Cyr at Brain New Therapy. These roles deepened his understanding of the human mind and fueled his belief that emotional safety is the foundation for personal and collective growth.

At VAAV Wellbeing, Prashant co-leads a team that designs SEL resources, conducts facilitator training, and supports school leadership in building emotionally safe environments. He is also a Toastmasters leader, the Chairman of Shahid Ganga Lal Foundation.

Each conversation, session, or training led by Prashant is rooted in empathy and insight. His mission is simple: help people feel seen, heard, and emotionally equipped to thrive.
